Possibility to add a time estimate to tickets ?

I am currently using Trac to organise a rather large project, with many milestones and many possible tickets per milestone. While I was adding tickets for a milestone, I wondered about the following enhancement : the possibility of adding a time estimate to a ticket, to make it easier to predict the end date of a milestone. A report of a milestone could then add this information to present a computed due date, which would make it easier for an administrator (or a project manager/leader) to have a view on how things are going. Of course, if several people work on parts of the same milestone, they have to be considered in parallel.
E.g. A first estimate could be done on basis of unassigned tickets, which would then give a certain date far in the future. Assignment and reassignment of these tasks to different developers can shorten the milestone estimate.
