Description
I've not found any entry for this in your database, please forgive me if I missed it.
When using the notification feature of Trac, emails are sent to updater, owner, … according to the trac.ini configuration. The content such an email can be:
(In [666666]) fixes #55555 - added correction (...)
which is meaningfull within the Trac system as it interprets:
It could be usefull to send an email with real http links which could then be clicked to access them directly into Trac. This would give an email content like:
(In http://myserver/trac/changeset/666666) fixes http://myserver/trac/ticket/55555 - added correction...
As I agree that this could make the email reading difficult (as full links can be huge), it could be optional using a trac.ini configuration such as :
[notification]
…
use_full_links = true
I've set milestone to 0.12, but, of course, it is just a suggestion.

Yep, as you guessed, there's almost an exact duplicate, #5935. That one has been consolidated into #4270, as the idea is two-fold: produce a "better" text from the wiki markup by stripping away what is only wiki markup (like
[[br]]
macros) and augment it with links (comment:ticket:4270:2).
