#6247 closed enhancement (wontfix)
Would be nice to be able to return immediately back to your last query after submitting a ticket

Description
Right now you have a four step process:
1) Write up the bug 2) Submit it 3) Scroll all the way back up to the top of the page 4) Click "Back to Query"
It would be great if it was two steps:
1) Write up the bug 2) Submit it, and automatically go back to your query

Replying to cboos:
So -1 on the suggestion from me.
-1 as well. I think it is safer to keep displaying the ticket page once the ticket has been submitted.

-1 on core. Sounds like a good application of a bread-crumbs plugin though.

-1 as well from me. Use the [Home] button on your keyboard to avoid the long scroll to the top. Should reduce your frustration a little.

Ok, so it seems that this proposal was shot down with four bullets ;-)
Well, there are many things that you could possibly do after having edited a ticket. Going back to the query is simply one of those, I'm not even sure it's the most frequent one.
So -1 on the suggestion from me.
