Description

We use trac internally in our shop and everyone has the same email suffix. Rather than hope everyone has logged in and set their email in the session, or use fully qualified email addresses, it would be nice to just say "assign to: sean" and have the email generated properly.

Here is a patch for the required behaviour:

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain Jonas Borgström.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.
to The owner will be changed from Jonas Borgström to the specified user.

Add Comment
E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
