default value for "Comments only" checkbox

The checkbox "Comments only" in the ticket view is checked by default. Personally I like to always see all the changes, so it is a little cumbersome to untick this box each time a new ticket is opened.

A setting in the preferences would be appreciated, or remember the last value and use in future as default value.

I cannot reproduce. The value of Comments only is False by default, and the state is preserved in the session data (i.e. the value is remembered). However a similar issue has been reported in #11612.

Which Trac version are you running and have you recently upgraded? Do you have any plugins installed? Please attach a screen capture of your About Trac page (accessed via /about).

I get strange behavior on ​https://josm.openstreetmap.de/ with registered user.

1. Register a new user
2. Login as the registered user
3. Visit ​http://josm.openstreetmap.de/ticket/10692
4. Check Comments only box
5. Re-visit ​http://josm.openstreetmap.de/ticket/10692
6. Comments only chekcbox is not chekced (reproduced).
   Also, sometimes a warning message is shown, Warning: You must specify a valid email address.. My email is already verified on the site….

The issue appears to be caused by ​AccountManagerPlugin. See comment:13:ticket:11612.

We'll continue debugging the issue in that ticket, but for now I'll assume it's a PluginIssue. Please continue following the progress on the issue in ticket #11612, which may lead to a ticket for ​AccountManagerPlugin.
