Milestone: 0.8.10.8.2
Resolution: fixed
Status: closedreopened

I use 0.8.2 for Windows and it seems like the icon is missing after the install. beside that the whole windows install is buggy.

This is the error message from Apache 11:33 2005] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] File does not exist: C:/Program Files/Apache Group/Apache2/htdocs/favicon.ico, referer: http://localhost/cgi-bin/trac.cgi

The file is "trac.ico" and is referenced from the HTML via a <link rel="icon" /> tag.

comment:7 by Christopher Lenz, 20 years ago

As Matthew said, trac.ico gets correctly referenced from the HTML generated by Trac. Browsers might still request the default site favicon. Nothing we can do about that; you'll need to copy the icon over yourself. Better yet, use your own custom icon.

Anyway, why are you saying "beside that the whole windows install is buggy." Apparently, I did forget to remove the checkwiki.py file from the wiki-default directory, but other than that it should be okay, no?
