GitHub
GitHub is a Git repository hosting service currently owned by Microsoft:
The service has become the standard for software developers, whether it is open-source or proprietary licensed. Some of its features inspired further developments on Trac over the years, and spawned for example #2035.
Note that we maintain an official Git mirror of the SubversionRepository there, see edgewall/trac. Also a number of plugins is hosted on this site, see github-hosted plugins.
For work that requires more than a single changeset, or if you are simply more comfortable working with Git or Mercurial, it can be easier to stage the changes in a distributed repository fork. Follow the guidelines on how to work from the GitHub mirror when submitting patches.
