Description

Filtering message bodies is impossible with some mail servers and clients. It would be helpful if notifications could be 'from' and/or reply to the commenter. Or at least the commenter could be added to the subject.

This is already possible. See the [notification] ticket_subject_template option in trac.ini. The documentation for that option is a bit sparse, but ticket is the ticket model object, and the value of the option is a Genshi text template.

Modify Ticket

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The ticket will remain with no owner.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.
to The owner will be changed from (none) to the specified user.

Add Comment


E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
