Description

When viewing the Timeline view of our local Trac installation, I have it configured to show me only Repository checkins from the last 7 days. When I click on the 'RSS Feed' link at the bottom of the page in Google Chrome, I do not get a typical RSS feed with the option to subscribe to it. Instead, I get the attached output displayed in the browser window.

Are you sure Chrome supports subscribing without an extension such as this - http://dev.chromium.org/developers/design-documents/extensions/samples ?

Manual subscription from Google Reader works ok. FF works ok too. Are you sure this feature works for other sitesi in Crome? Can you spare some links?

Resolution: invalid
Status: newclosed

Some of my initial attempts were via manual subscription in Google Reader. I would go to [Add a subscription], enter the URL (%DOMAIN%/trac/timeline?changeset=on&max=50&daysback=90&format=rss), and click add. Google Reader reports: "Your search did not match any feeds."

I did some research, however, and as it turns out, Google Reader does not support protected RSS feeds. We protect our Trac installation with htaccess. That seems to be the cause of my issue.
