I think a lot of people (including myself) are at their first contact with trac tempted to "play" with this trac server, as a way to discover the features of trac. Maybe it would be a good idea to setup such a demo/test environment, besides the current trac for trac… The demo environment could be a test area for:

  • future trac users, who could see how they could use trac
  • trac developers, who could use it to test the very latest committed revision the trunk

The real trac could then be closed to anonymous users in order to reduce testing noise…
