Description
Hello, a word about configuration into trac.ini
[trac] mainnav =
When I get ride of stuff, exemple by keeping only mainnav = wiki
I still get my mainnav bar filled with everything set by default (wiki, timeline, roadmap, browser, tickets, newticket, search).
The only item that I can get to remove is the newticket link.
Thanks

OK, thanks for clarifiing.. I was about to learn python to go find where that was coming from ;)
I've made a more clearer statement (I hope :x ) defining the mainnac in TracIni
Ancient definition : List of item IDs to display in the navigation bar
New definition : Order of the items to display in the navigation bar listed by IDs

Thanks for the suggested change. Btw, those entries will eventually go, superseded by the [mainnav]
and [metanav]
sections, look at TracNavigation.
(see also ticket:6733#comment:1 - respect the order of entries in the trac.ini)
mainnav
option is not for adding/removing components, only to order them (i.e. the order of appearance from left to right).Use the
[components]
section to enable/disable the related feature. or alternatively the web interface from the "Admin" tab. Disabled components won't appear in the main navigation bar.
