Description
Hi,
I sometimes note down task's I'm about to do myself when registering a new ticket.
If the reporter and assign to is the same user, acceptance could be regarded as implicit.
Thank you

Definitely a plugin candidate. I assign tickets to myself all the time, but I use 'acceptance' more to imply that I'm actively working on something, which I think is true for the majority of users as well. It can certainly be desirable to assign a ticket to one's self for some future enhancement, for example, that might seem like a good idea at the time.

Closing this as a duplicate of #2045 - it essentially asks for the same use case, and has much relevant discussion on the topic.
You can build a custom workflow plugin to do this. -1.
