Description
Trac kills the text you enter irretrievably when somebody else modifies a ticket in the meantime. I consider that to be unacceptable behavior.
The reason is probably either some Javascript they're using, one or both of these HTTP response headers:
Cache-Control: must-revalidate
Expires: Fri, 01 Jan 1999 00:00:00 GMT
I don't know how to fix that in a good way; maybe the Trac people have a solution. But the current situation is fucked up. I just lost another quarter hour writing a ticket entry. Frankly, I can waste my time in more fun ways. :-( :-(

Replying to eblot:
I would suggest you spend some of it searching the ticket database, looking for existing tickets, and a little bit more reporting the version of Trac you're using ;-)
Sorry for that.
I copied and pasted the error report of an user without deleting the non relevant parts.

Anyway, this is a dup of #4100.
