Description
When I use custom query on Trac (has many tickets) it take long time to generate ticket listing. I only need to look at number of ticket per group.
I would be nice if there is a check box that allow user to disable report listing for faster generation of the query.
I am willing to provide a patch for this if TracTeam things that it is useful feature. I could create a plugin to do this but it is almost will be the same code as the query module but removing ticket listing. I am up for suggestion as well.

The macro is great if user wants to create wiki page that doesn't change often. I will try to use that feature more and see if it serve my need.
However, I like the custom query a lot since it has very nice UI that helps user construct the query. That bring up another useful feature that alow user to see the query text when user click update button. They then can use the text as input to the TicketQuery macro.
Again I still think that it is very useful to be able to disable the ticket listing when using the custom query. I am not sure if people use custom query a lot but I do since I am trying to understand how ticket status changed in software project.

I think this feature request is no longer relevant now that we have paging (#216).
Have you considered using the TicketQuery macro from within some TicketReport wiki page, using the mode=count argument?
