That used to be the case during 0.10 development, but after that syntax has been in use for a while, we recognized that this produced too many "false positives", so we reverted that change.
Closest thing to this is: ["Some"] == [wiki:Some], the so called MoinMoin's internal free links style, see WikiPageNames for more details.
And by the way, the "InterWiki" term is used for linking from a Wiki to a page located in another Wiki site.
