It is very annoying always select what kind of tickets I want to see.

The possibility to select a default report is discussed in #1925.
The sub-menu idea is interesting, but is a longer term one.

This enhancement request is a bit under-specified. With a number of existing tickets already dealing with the general idea, I'm closing it as a duplicate. Here are some interesting pointers:
- #2409 - (0.11) Allows storing a default query in trac.ini
- #3511 - Storing a personal preference
- #1735 - (0.11) Allows you to save a custom query as a report
- #1268 - Requests for quick-search support for report numbers
Please reopen if there is something not covered by these tickets revealed by my quick scan - but do a Search first as there are quite a few other report and query related tickets.
Can you elaborate? "New Ticket" leads to create a new ticket, not to see existing tickets.
Default version, milestone and components can be preselected (on a per-project basis).
Can you give an example of what default kind of tickets you'd like to see?
