I just noticed a new form of spamming on Trac … attachment spamming.

e.g. attachment:wiki:TracReports:buy-hydrocodone.htm

We should filter on the attachment name and the attachment comment, at least. Not sure about the content itself, probably should be filtered too.

Hm… well, would have been a good idea to not delete that particular spam attachment, so people could see what I was talking about…

Anyway, you get the idea:

  • the filename itself contains spam words, and could potentially be anything offending
  • the attachment description was typical wiki spam
  • and the file itself was a spammy HTML page

I've saved the spam attachment if you want it, but I didn't think it was necessary to leave it in the Wiki.
