Description
It would help a lot if completed Milestones would appear to ticket version list. Maybe this already exists? I haven't found it :)

In some projects, version naming schema differs from milestone naming schema. Also, in some projects, a version consists of several milestones.
Thus, it seems logical to extend the proposal and allow one of the following:
- Link a milestone to an existing version, or
- Create a new version with the name that defaults to current milestone but that can be changed.

A new ticket has appeared for this feature with some on-going discussions - #6543. I'm closing this one as duplicate, and please continue discussions there.

When closing a milestone, there could be a checkbox asking for automatically creating a new version with the corresponding name (idea from cmlenz, IIRC).
