I use trac trunk at r2116 with config option 

restrict_owner = true

In form 'New Ticket' property 'Assign to:' should be empty by default, but it filled by first known username. In this case all new tickets owned by first user independed from selected component.

PS Full user name in owner drop-down list could be _very_ useful.

this was fixed in [2122], is a duplicate of #1957, and causes another problem - #2729 :)

Modify Ticket

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain Jonas Borgström.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.
to The owner will be changed from Jonas Borgström to the specified user.

Add Comment
E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
