Add separate UI control to collapse / expand repositories in timeline

Description
The timeline allows checking each repository individually. When all are checked the list of repositories is collapsed automatically. Otherwise it is expanded automatically.
It would be much better to have a separate UI control for expanding / collapsing.
Some users might want to disable all of them, and also to collapse the list. (This should be the default. → #12012)
Some users might want to enable just "their" repositories and then collapse the list for long periods of time.

Unchecking the group could then also uncheck all repositories, so one would not tediously have to uncheck them all manually.
