It is quick to remove multiple permissions from a subject because they can be selected and removed in a single submit. Assigning multiple permissions is not as quick.
The Django admin page has been suggestions on the Bloodhound mailing list as a good example to follow:
jQuery multiselect widget provides another possible implementation.
