Description
I have noticed that the Trac system fails to be compliant to the Internet standards. Is there some way that this can be remedied? Even here, the pages fails to format correctly and I am forced to tyhpe behind and ad that appears over this screen.
Thanks.

I suppose you're referring to the advertising in the right margin which overlaps at very narrow screen sizes? Yes, there must be a better way to handle this.
But besides that iframe, we do support W3C standards, as our pages should be valid XHTML 1.0 Strict. If not, feel free to file a specific bug.
(Hello Rémy, it's been a while since our last collision on ticket edit ;-) )

Thanks for the response.
Yes, that advertising may be one issue that shows the non-compliance. However, when I wish to zoom in (Ctrl-+) to see text on the big screen at a readable resolution, your pages are not compliant because they create a horizontal scroll bar. This is something that must never happen in web design.
I believe it is Trac-based design, because users of Trac have the same problem.
By the way, I am using 1024x768 on a HD television monitor. There is plenty of screen width.
Thanks again.

Closing rant ;-)
(and next time feel free to provide an example of a web site that doesn't have an horizontal scroll bar appearing when zooming)

Replying to cboos:

I have issues with the margins when trying to zoom a t.e.o page on my phone. Everything in the div#main
get narrower when zooming.
Would you mind being a bit more precise (e.g. which "Internet standard")?
