Description
Using Trac 0.12.2 on Debian wiht Apache 2.2 I get the following message when I use blank .htpassword with the style <user>:<md5_hashed_pwd>
MissingSectionHeaderError: File contains no section headers. file: /var/trac/foo/.htpasswd
If I add a header called [user] in the .htpasswd then everything works fine besides there is now a user [user] in the user settings list in the web admin area.

The issue exist without any plugin installed. Plus it is trac that reports the error and does not filter out the section headers although it asks for them. Other sites on is machine work fine without section headers.

This is still an InstallationIssue (did you read that page, BTW?):
- An
.htpasswd
file doesn't have sections. - With no plugins installed, Trac doesn't even know about the
.htpasswd
file, so I don't see how it could report errors in that file. Did you maybe confuse it with the authz file? - If you don't have th:AccountManagerPlugin installed, there's no "Users" admin panel.
Please check your configuration again, and if you need more help, ask on the MailingList and/or IrcChannel. Thank you.
This is an InstallationIssue, and possibly a PluginIssue (th:AccountManagerPlugin). Please check your Apache and plugin configuration.
