#8809 closed enhancement (wontfix)

Voting: It would be cool to have "Like" or "Dislike" buttons for comments, revisions, pages, etc.

Description

While partially frivolous, I do think it would be useful in team settings to be able to quickly "Vote" on a comment, ticket, revision or page.

Replying to leho@…:

whats wrong with http://trac-hacks.org/wiki/FiveStarVotePlugin ?

Looks reasonably cool. It's not clear from the screenshots or the docs whether it can be applied to e.g. every comment in a ticket.

Now I just need to see if my hosted trac supports it…

Better done as plugins, I think.

As usual, if the plugin developer needs some specific support from Trac core in order to better integrate itself, the ticket can be reopened to discuss the specifics.
