yep for sure.

Replying to lkraav <leho@…>:

yep for sure.

Perhaps, but as of now the messages.po file is still at 0%, so I'll remove it until a patch is provided. See TracL10N to see how to proceed.

comment:12 by Christian Boos, 14 years ago

I'll delete the Estonian translation placeholder for now. If someone wants to contribute an Estonian translation in the future, (s)he's very welcome to do so, of course, but with an initial messages.po with a completion status which makes it at least a tiny bit useful (say something like 20%).

Moving out of sight for now. If someone has an Estonian translation to contribute, feel free to reopen.

both 0.12 and trunk have et translations now. they're likely to be have some corrections during the next couple of weeks of actual usage. but generally this should be good enough to make it for 0.12.3.

comment:17 by anonymous, 12 years ago

Please kindly commit them to the repository, so they can be easily used. Thank you!

comment:18 by lkraav <leho@…>, 12 years ago

well 0.12.3 is right around the corner, rblank cboos is this gonna make it in?

comment:19 by Christian Boos, 12 years ago

I think we've waited long enough for 0.12.3 so that we can afford to have at least one or two weeks of string freeze before the rc, giving time for translators to catch up ;-)

comment:20 by boamaod@…, 12 years ago

Bummer! Estonian translation is still not commited to the source tree and hasn't been included to 0.12.3… Who is supposed to do it anyway?

comment:21 by Christian Boos, 12 years ago

At some point, Transifex worked OK for us, but somehow they changed the way .po files are updated from the svn tree, and now we end up with very misleading statistics. It also looks like I have missed a lot of "mail" (internal mails to Tx, that is). I'll try to catch up. Otherwise, what always work to catch our attention is to attach here a .po file which is up-to-date, error free and with a good coverage (doesn't need to be 100%).

Catching up… actually the new Tx interface and concepts makes sense. I'll update the TracL10N page with the new "workflow" once I'm fully familiar with it.

Initial translation committed in r10981. I like the tx client!

Now, as this translation rotted a bit in Transifex (my fault), it would be nice to updated it (make update-et) and fix what needs to be (not much: 20 fuzzy translations, 7 untranslated messages).

If you'd like to edit the translations in Transifex, you can push the updated files like this:

$ cd 0.12-stable
$ make update-et
$ tx push -t -l et

If you don't have yet the Transifex client, just easy_install transifex-client, then tx init to enter your username/password (be careful, username is not necessarily your email, as I found out…).
