Description
I just did my first Trac installation at Dreamhost using mysql database. I have installed TracAccountManager 0.2.1dev-r3857 and TracSpamFilter 0.2.1dev-r6990 plugins. After installing the spam filter I was required to issue trac-admin upgrade command.
I was looking at the Spam Filter: Configuration options, and tried to enable logging. However, when I hit Apply changes the page refreshes and the box becomes unchecked. I checked that Spam Filter: Monitoring was empty, logged out, logged in as normal registered user, and made a change to the main wiki page. I then logged in again as admin to see if there were changes in Spam Filtering: Monitoring, but there was nothing.
The logging configuration for SpamFilter is stored in
trac.ini
. If you want to be able to change the configuration from the admin panel, you have to ensure that the user under which your web server is running has write access totrac.ini
.
