Description

Basic wiki tables in Tickets (but not Wiki pages) display an extra column on the right.

Am using the below table example from WikiFormatting on t.e.o.:

||Cell 1||Cell 2||Cell 3||
||Cell 4||Cell 5||Cell 6||

In both FF and IE…

  • There's an extra column on the right (of Cell 3 and Cell 6) when

entered into a 0.11rc1 Ticket's description or comments.

  • The extra column does not display in 0.11rc1 Wiki pages.
  • The extra column does not display in 0.10 Trac tickets or wiki pages.

My environment is 0.11rc1, Python 2.5.2, Windows, Apache, mod_python and a "trunk" version of Genshi.

Perhaps incorrectly, I first noted the bug in this Trac-Users group posting.

Yep in RC1, in my environment as noted above —- have been able to recreate on 3 separate machines. Haven't tried RC2 yet but most likely will this weekend. Would be glad to attach screen shots if folks need them.

Must be some plugin. As you can see in comment:2, works fine here.

Sorry to be a spoil-sport, but I continue to see the extraneous mini-column (on the right) when using wiki tables in tickets. See attached. Strangely the identical syntax in a wiki page does not have that extraneous column. Also see attached.

Running a clean 0.11 install with no plugins, both locally on Windows XP and also on Windows Server 2003, can easily recreate the issue. Am now using a released (i.e. non-trunk) Genshi 0.5.

If there is additional information I can provide, I'll be happy to do so. Short of moving up to Genshi 0.5.1, not certain what else is left to try. Perhaps mod_wsgi, but I've never configured that before.

If you want to mark this as a WontFix, then not worries. The issue is benign, just perplexing (in a cosmetic way).

No problem, we since figured out it was a real issue, see #7461.
