#6564 closed task (wontfix)
Would be great to have a features matrix and question in FAQ to show how Trac compares to Confluence+Jira, for example

Description
It seems to me that even though Trac has integrated task tracking, it pales in comparision to Confluence+Jira combination. For example, the Trac community seems smaller, you can't comment on pages, there is no community involvement in the development of the Trac documentation, and I don't understand what is so great about the "minimalistic" approach to wiki and task tracking. Also, I don't understand how you can make money off of Trac and maintain it (but I probably just didn't read through the site enough). I think you would have a much easier time gathering a user community if you could address these issues.

We don't.
re: your main point, sounds like a good idea, go for it.

Just ask Google ;-)

But if someone feels like creating such a comparison matrix here, then please just go ahead (hint: start with some real content! a skeleton page has little chance to get updated and will likely get deleted after a while)

Should it be a goal?
I think the "user community" is already quite large.
IMHO these points are not real "issues", although a comparison matrix would still be interesting.
