Description

a useful feature would be to automaticly notificate the "assign to"-user by email. is there anybody who can help me by making such a feature for trac?

Please be fair with the priority & severity fields.

Enable always_notify_owner in the [notification] section of your project trac.ini file.

Not closing this ticket (yet) as this option triggers a notification to the ticket's owner anytime the ticket is updated. Did you mean an email on each update, or only when a user is assigned an existing ticket?

Modify Ticket

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain Jonas Borgström.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.
to The owner will be changed from Jonas Borgström to the specified user.

Add Comment


E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
