It clutters the wiki-sources if you embed some html, eg. for formatting reasons.
In addition to this format…

'one-line' html should probably not be used at all. If you have alot of formatting in a page, it's probably better to format the whole thing - or the block/paragraph at least - in html, using the method mentioned in WikiProcessors.
