Description
Hello,
In our organisation we use administrative project numbers to name our software project. Format: AAxx, always a two character abbreviation for the customer name followed by a two digit serial number. e.g. ET64, BH00 etc.
When we create InterTrac links with those names, they don't work.
I understand that the following links can't work, because the changeset/ticket number is directly after the project serial number:
[ET64123] #ET64123
But also the following format doesn't work:
[ET64:123] #ET64:123
The changeset/ticket number is here separated from the project serial number, so it could - theoretical - be possible to implement it as a correct inter trac link.
PS: Maybe this problem has been reported before but I can't find it with the Search function.

Good suggestion. So far, we only thought about using a space character as a separator, which works for changeset short links but not for ticket short links.
