Description (last modified by )
I am in the process of migrating a trac installation for our group to a different server. About the environment:
- The new server is running trace-0.10.3 [for Debian]
- and the old server is running on 0.9.6-3.
- tarred up /var/trac/ from old server and extracted on the new server
And restarted the web server ; when I try to login, the error message is :
Python Traceback
Traceback (most recent call last): File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.4/trac/web/main.py", line 356, in dispatch_request dispatcher.dispatch(req) File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.4/trac/web/main.py", line 224, in dispatch resp = chosen_handler.process_request(req) File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.4/trac/web/auth.py", line 95, in process_request self._do_login(req) File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.4/trac/web/auth.py", line 116, in _do_login assert req.remote_user, 'Authentication information not available.' AssertionError: Authentication information not available.
Would appreciate a pointer on resolving this issue. thanks,
