AJAX powered popups on ticket reassignment

Description

It would be super cool if trac could pop up a window or an alert whenever an issue was assigned to me. This would make ticket reassignment to fast, and remove the need to wait for an email for notification.

I don't even quite see how this would work technically, and believe the Trac answer should be: “Just use RSS or Mail.”

Besides, some polling AJAX thing could be easily implemented as an add-on. Wouldn't even require writing a plugin.

Modify Ticket

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain Jonas Borgström.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.
to The owner will be changed from Jonas Borgström to the specified user.

Add Comment
E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
