Should scramble email address in tickets

Description

I submitted a ticket (#4548) about a week ago, and (unthinkingly) entered my email address. I have now gotten unsolicited (spam) mail to this address, which has never happened before.

I suggest that Trac should scramble the email address in the same way that most blogs and newsreaders do to make it more difficult to collect automatically by crawlers

Resolution: → duplicate
Status: new → closed

Sorry for the trouble, but this has been addressed and the feature will be available in the next version of Trac. See #153.

Modify Ticket

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain Jonas Borgström.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.
to The owner will be changed from Jonas Borgström to the specified user.

Add Comment
E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
