#4422 closed defect (wontfix)

InterWiki link page location should be configurable

Description

In the trac.ini file, it should be possible to override the default location of the InterMapTxt wiki page.

I, for example, would like to nest that page under /wiki/Sys/InterMapTxt or something like that so I could use security to restrict changes to it.

Actually, all of the "system" wiki pages should be customizable, like

  • WikiStart
  • TracGuide
  • RecentChanges
  • TitleIndex
  • etc…

I guess WikiStart, TitleIndex and RecentChanges are customizable, because you can customize the wiki.cs template.

With #654, fine grained security could apply to any page, irrelevant of its name.

I'm not sure making the name of those system pages configurable is a good idea. I think it's better if the users could build some knowledge about Trac that they can reuse from instance to instance.

So I'm proposing a wontfix here.
