Description

It would be useful to have a soft checking on developers capabilities in the process of assigning a ticket.

For instance, let's say Joe Schmoe is good at SVN integration and Mr Smith has been working on the Wiki engine. I would like to associate keywords with developers (SVN to Joe and Wiki to Smith) so that I can do a quick check of their capabilities before assigning one of them a ticket.

A hard check (i.e. not allowing or bugging the user if developer X doesn't have keyword Y) is undesired and probably will make more trouble then help.

This looks like a good candidate for a plugin, I don't think this could be part of the Trac core. See http://trac-hacks.org/#Request-a-Hack

Agreed that it shouldn't be part of core. This is a prime candidate for a WorkFlow plugin. Leave it open until WorkFlow is merged I reckon?

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain Alec Thomas.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.
to The owner will be changed from Alec Thomas to the specified user.
