Description

Is there a way to update tickets using email? Many ticketing systems, RT being a favorite, allows people to make updates to tickets via POP3 or some inbound mail configuration. This is a great help to work flow, especially when bug reporters rely heavily on email for communication.

You're probably looking for ​EmailtoTracScript

I don't see how somebody can update a ticket using POP, you probably meant SMTP…

Modify Ticket

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain Jonas Borgström.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.
to The owner will be changed from Jonas Borgström to the specified user.

Add Comment
E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
