Description
I write my wiki text using an editor and like to wrap the text at 80 columns
to make it readable in plain text. I frequently use long URLs like [http://someurl/foo/bar/whatsit/page.html Name of Link]
, which
are prone to being split onto separate lines by the editor. Unfortunately,
Trac doesn't seem to recognize the links when they are split.

I wrote attachment:continued_lhref_links-r3403.patch merely as a way to check if that could be done… not sure it's a good thing to do, though.

I'm -1 on this, and as a general stance I think we need to strive to keep the Wiki syntax simple rather than cater to every whim. Like they say, you can't please all of the people all of the time.
