It should be noted that this feature combines itself nicely with the proposed resolution for #38, as the minor edit (won't appear in the timeline) comment will be shown on top of the preview page, where it can't be missed.

Applied with some minor modifications, in r3476 and r3477 (see the net change with diff:@3475//@3477)
Note that a similar info box should be added when displaying attachments.
