Description

What would it require to get an e-mail notification sent out when you assign a ticket to someone, instead of only including them to the e-mail when they accept?

Status: new → closed

You can do this now using TracNotification. In particular, see this field:

always_notify_owner: (since 0.9) Always send notifications to the address in the owner field.

Modify Ticket

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain Jonas Borgström.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.
to The owner will be changed from Jonas Borgström to the specified user.

Add Comment
E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
