Description
changing the reporter field while editing a ticket, and going to preview the changes, doesn't carry that value over
in addition, new custom field values are not carried over (or at least select boxes)

This has been fixed. As far as I can tell, all field (including reporter and custom fields) are preserved now.

This bug just bit us. The cmlenz comment of Jun 21 says this is fixed, but there are no files attached to this ticket yet - what file(s) fix this? I really would like to get this into our 0.8.4 install. Thanks!

I believe what cmlenz is saying is that after all the refactoring that has been done in the trunk that it appears to be fixed. So, the fix can't be backported to the 0.8 branch since the code is totally different now.
