Description
using dev revision 1442, and have noticed that when I log into a "deep" link (say, the "new ticket" page), it seems to authenticate fine, but then comes up with a "needs XXXX perm" (view/create/etc) error, and doesn't show me as logged in. If I click the "login" link, it instantly logs in (no prompt) and works as expected.

Do you have authentication setup so that the whole Trac site is protected? I'm thinking this is a duplicate of 1353 which has been fixed in [1457].

See TracTickets

I take back my "deep" comment. It seems to happen on normal login attempts, too.
