Description

After upgrading our Trac instance from Trac 0.12.7 to 1.0.19, the plugins list in the administration panel still shows: Trac 0.12.7 while I would expect the entry to have been upgraded to Trac 1.0.19 as well.

Traced it down with help from the mailing list. Was caused by Trac-0.12.7-py2.7.egg-info directory having been left behind after upgrading Trac to 1.0.19.

As mentioned on the list, adding a hint to that issue to the Trac upgrade page, might be useful for others as well.
