Do users see ANY hint that a trac instance will not accept email replies?

The DEFAULT should be no-reply@ etc. except if the administrator has set something different.

The default value of
[notification] smtp_from
andsmtp_replyto
is trac@localhost. That just looks like an un-acceptable address.
