The tutorial written at TracDev/PluginDevelopment differs from the one described at EggCookingTutorial
The former does not work, the latter does. At least for me. I cannot say why the first one does not work.
At the end, I think it is better to keep the tutorial only in one place. The TracDev/PluginDevelopment page can make a overview of the plugin architecture and exposes some links to go deep into it.

No problem. It would be good to unify the tutorials and just have a single tutorial at TracDev/PluginDevelopment.
