Description

Running on CentOS 6.6, I recently upgraded from trac10-1.0.1-4.el6.noarch to trac10-1.0.4-1.el6.noarch. After the upgrade, Closing a milestone failed with the following error:

TypeError: update() got an unexpected keyword argument 'author'

Reverting to the previous version made the problem go away.

I have attached the good and bad version "about" information as attachments.

Please let me know what additional information would be helpful.

We'll need to see the traceback from the logs when the issue occurs. The author keyword was added in [12194].

The issue is likely to be with Agilo. You are running Agilo 1.3.9. Support for Trac 1.0.2 was added in Agilo 1.3.14: see wiki:AgiloForTracPlugin#NewAgiloForTracPro1.3.14ReleasedwithAgiloforTrac0.9.142014-12-17.

CC'ing Agilo in case they've seen this issue already.

I just uploaded the requested stacktrace. My next step will be to read the Agilo link you mentioned above. I'll report on whether that helped sometime tonight.

I found the Agilo download process confusing. Have reached out to the guy at our end that did this last time (apparently a registration is required). Getting the new version downloaded and tested is going to take more time than I expected. Sigh.

I just removed agilo 1.3.9 and upgraded to trac 1.0.4. Now I do NOT keep the "unexpected keyword" error (nor do we have agilo). If my guys that were using the Agilo feature get around to reinstalling, I'll report the status (I assume it will be successful).

Thanks for the help!
