Description
This task ticket is used to coordinate the finalization and testing of Trac 0.12.7, which may be the final release in the 0.12.x line. Only security issues will be fixed going forward.

TODO ChangeLog file still needs to be updated in this release. The release step was removed in TracDev/ReleaseChecklist@72.

I closed next-minor-0.12.x, with the expectation that any issues that need to be fixed on 0.12-stable will be serious enough to be assigned to an active milestone (e.g. 0.12.8).

We don't strip whitespaces from tests code in 0.12-stable, 1.0-stbale and trunk. I don't think we should apply such changes before a release.

Yes, we do on 1.0-stable and trunk. It has been done previous two releases and is documented in release steps. However 0.12-stable is a mess so I'll revert.

At least, we should revert [14079/branches/0.12-stable/trac/mimeview/tests/patch.py] and [14079/branches/0.12-stable/trac/util/tests/text.py] to pass unit and functional tests.
TODO Announce string freeze on 0.12-stable and ask translators to update the translations.
