Custom Query UI: automatic OR on multiple filters of the same criteria is limiting

From the TracQuery documentation (Filters): … Filters with either a text box or a pulldown menu of options can be added multiple times to perform an or of the criteria.

I find this behaviour to be very limiting. I want to be able to find tickets containing e.g. in the description all of the words I am looking for, not all tickets containing any of the words.

See also #5526 The + sign mentioned in comment 7 seems to be gone but redmine supports a query like word1%word2 and delivers only those tickets containing both words.

If however wildcards as part of the criteria in custom query ui should already be supported, then please update the documentation. None of the combinations I tried showed the desired result.
