Description
It would be nice if Trac could automatically import messages from a mail account that receives bug report or user inquiries and create tickets for each one.

It should handle generic emails, but default values would be set to all fields that can't be read from email like component, version, severity, etc.
We should be able to configure more than one email account with different values, like tickets from bugreport@… would be created with default values different from tickets created from support@….

This is a duplicate of #250.
Is there some application or existing format that you're interested in importing, or are you simply looking for something to handle generic emails? If it's just a basic email, you can't really get any information other than the reporter, subject and description, so it would leave a lot of the information blank.
