Description

While commenting on a ticket, the text being edited is shown in formatted preview at bottom. The problem is that such preview code seems also to mess with the page view, so that while editing the page suddenly scrolls down, on each update, moving the edit area even beyond bottom edge of window.

In some situations it's almost impossible to edit directly, so that the only practical option is to edit elsewhere and copy-paste into the comment area.

This seems related to enhancement #8855. Seems to happen especially with 'long' tickets. Happens at least in FFox ≥23, on MS-W.XP.SP3

I have not encountered this issue. Is it possible that you have a plugin installed that could be interfering?

Modify Ticket

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The ticket will remain with no owner.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.
to The owner will be changed from (none) to the specified user.

Add Comment
E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
